Alaskan Alpine Treks 2010 Summer Calendar

Calendar for the summer of 2010!

The trips we're currently planning for 2010 are, as per the calendar above, are:

We have a lot planned for the coming summer, including an exploratory trip on the north side of Wrangell - St. Elias National Park and Preserve by Mt Jarvis and Tumble Creek, we'll be doing the Bremner to Tebay Trip, an extended backpack through the Chugach Mountains in Wrangell St. Elias National Park, as well as a sea kayaking/hiking combo trip in Icy Bay, beneath the towering St. Elias Range, the world's tallest coastal mountain range and home of 18 008' high Mt. St. Elias - Definitely check this trip out! Another Phototour to Skolai Pass should be a ton of fun, as well as a float trip down the Canning River in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Please contact us if you have any questions.

I will again focus on Wrangell St. Elias National Park in the coming summer for a photo book project I'm working on, and hence I'm currently not scheduling any trips for 2010 to Denali - however, if you would like to discuss those options, please do feel free to send a message and we can try to work that out. As always, I try to be as fluid and flexible as possible with bookings, to work with trip participants and what they would most like to do.

If you wish to arrange a trip outside these dates please contact me via the link at the bottom of this page -- trip dates are almost ALWAYS scheduled to accomodate your needs - contact us and request the dates that work best for you. Each trip will have a maximum of 5 or 6 participants and one guide. If you or your group would like to arrange a trip with more people, please discuss this with me. Most of these trips are in remote backcountry wilderness and the large groups of people can put undue pressure on the region. Visit our backpacking and hiking trips overview page for a look at each of these trips.
