Calendar for the summer of 2008!

We have a lot planned for the coming summer, including a new exploratory trip, an extended backpack through the Chugach Mountains in Wrangell St. Elias National Park, from Bremner Mines to the Tebay Lakes, as well as an exploratory trip from the Sandford River to the Dadina River, on the rarely visited north side of Wrangell St. Elias National Park - definitely check this one out! We'll also be doing a basecamp at Tebay Lakes, with day hikes around the surrounding mountains, including a nice walk down to the Tebay Falls. Because I would like to focus exclusively on Wrangell St. Elias National Park this coming summer for a book project I'm working on, I'm currently not scheduling any trips for 2008 to Denali - however, if you would like to discuss those options, please do feel free to send a message and we can try to work that out. As always, I try to be as fluid and flexible as possible with bookings, to work with trip participants and what they would most like to do.

If you wish to arrange a trip outside these dates please contact me via the link at the bottom of this page -- trip dates are almost ALWAYS scheduled to accomodate your needs - contact us and request the dates that work best for you. Each trip will have a maximum of 5 or 6 participants and one guide. If you or your group would like to arrange a trip with more people, please discuss this with me. Most of these trips are in remote backcountry wilderness and the large groups of people can put undue pressure on the region. June 12 - 19, 2008. Tebay Lakes basecamp trip, Wrangell St. Elias National Park.
June 21 - 28, 2008. Chitina River basecamp and photo trip - Wrangell St. Elias NP.
June 29 - July 14, 2008. Canning River, ANWR Trip.
July 19 - 27, 2008. Skolai Pass basecamp and Photo Tour - Wrangell St. Elias NP.
July 29 - Aug 5, 2008. Exploratory Trip: Sanford River to Dadina River - Wrangell St. Elias NP.
August 07 - 20, 2008. Exploratory Trip: Tebay Lakes to Bremner Mines, Wrangell St. Elias NP.
Aug 23 - Sept 2, 2008. Iceberg Lake to Bremner Mines trip, Wrangell St. Elias NP.
September 7 - 14, 2008. Iceberg Lake Basecamp Trip - Wrangell - St. Elias NP.
