Black Bear Scratchin'.

I followed this bear from early one morning until late in the afternoon. Most of that time he slept deep in the woods, which while frustrating for me as a photographer, was a neat experience to witness. Eventually he got up and walked to this clearing at the forest's edge, where I took this photograph. Taken in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, TN.
