Gears Down.

As a bald eagle comes in to land, flying into the wind, they spread their wings, and lower their feet, making great photo opportunities. This image, and others like it, are exciting to shoot. The morning light lit the under side of this bird, and I took this photograph. Homer, Kachemak Bay, Alaska.
