Bull Elk and landscape.

Typically having an animal look away from the amera doesn't lead to an effective photo, but in this case, I felt it helps add to the sense of 'home' that exists here. The elk, the distant mountains, the forest and the meadow. I like having the bull elk look off at the landscape, as if perhaps, he's as enamoured with it as I am. Bull elk, Canadian Rockies.
