Bull Elk Bugling in the Forest.

Elk tend, much like their close cousin the whitetail deer, to be a forest fringe or forest edge dwelling creature. Where possible, I try to incorporate a sense of place into my photos, to capture a sense of the environment in the images. Here, the rich greens of the forest in the background give a sense of where these elk live. Bull elk bugling, forest, Canadian Rockies. (Cervus Elaphus)
