Jack's River.

Jack's River in the Cohutta Wilderness of north Georgia is a popular place for nature lovers. The forest and the river offer a solitude that's becoming increasingly harder to find as the southern Appalachian mountains become more heavily visited. This place, and a few others like it, remains a gift for those prepared to walk a little further to find some of nature's beauty. This photograph was taken just before the sun disappeared behind the mountains behind me.
