Kenai Peninsula (B&W) .

Hiking off the trail and exploring the area, I found this scene. I particularly like the streak of light breaking through the clouds on the far mountain peak. This was taken near the southern terminous of the Resurrection Trail, not far from Juneau Falls. The Kenai Peninsula is a great place to hike through rich forests and then climb high above treeline for rewarding vistas. After I got home and viewed my slide, I thought the image looked better converted to black and white.
