Tray Mountain.

Late afternoon on a hike up Tray Mountain, North Georgia, along the Appalachian Trail. Spring is such a fantastic time of year to be outside, and a great time for nature photography. I love to create images that reflect the vitality and energy of spring. The afternoon I took this photograph was absolutely gorgeous, and the rhododendrons blooming by the trail were a sight to withhold. This is one of my favorite images of the southern Appalachian mountains.
