Evening at Hole in the Wall.

Hole in the Wall, Seven Sisters, Skolai Pass, Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, Alaska.

I hiked up to Hole in the Wall on the final night of a trip to Skolai Pass this summer, hoping I'd find some nice light to compliment the awesome rock and glacier outcroppings there. I was very lucky indeed, and shot this view of one of the high ridges there. There are 7 of these knolls or crests, and they're known locally as the 7 Sisters. The alpine flowers and the small stream hold the image together. Hole in the Wall, Skolai Pass, Wrangell-St. Elias NP, AK.
