Lupine Mania.

As
soon as I saw these lupines I knew I had to photograph them. I'd never
seen such a variety of colors and tones before, and tried to compose
them in a way that made a pleasing composition. Lupine are definitely
one of my favorite wildflowers, and they're always a pleasure to photograph.
The 2 species found in Alaska and parts of western Canada are Arctic
Lupine (Lupinus arcticus) and Nootka Lupine (Lupinus nootkantensis).
The magenta and pink lupines are the Nootka Lupine. This image was taken
in British Columbia, Canada.
