Cow Moose Resting in Snow.

Moose tend to be most active towards the dawn and dusk times of day. During the middle of the day they can often be found bedded down, like this cow here, in patches of vegetation such as willow and alder. The brushy vegetation makes finding a clean angle to shoto them from quite difficult. I was glad this female didn't mind my close approach. Denali Park, Alaska.
