Whitetail Buck Leaping the Fence.

This is another image I really hoped to get and looked for every opportunity to make it happen. I watched this buck, with his heavy rack, for an hour or more as he followed a group of does around this particular morning. Eventually, I saw they were heading for a spot where he'd have to leap the fence, and I set up in anticipation. The grasses flowing from his right-side tines add to the motion in the image. Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, TN.
