Dall Sheep Up Close.

This particular morning I'd been photographing a band of rams when they bedded down in the shade of some rocks. There was nothing for me to do but either leave or wait it out. I decided a nap was in order, and lay down on the tundra. Before long one of the rams had got up and was grazing, moving towards me. I grabbed my wide angle lens and lay very still, and he came remarkably close to me. It was absolutely AMAZING! Shots showing habitat and environemt of the subject are very interesting to me, so I tried to give a sense of where this guy lives, high in the mountains of Alaska. Dall Sheep Ram, Alaska Range, Alaska.
